Worst Emergency Room in the state of Alabama, wait to be seen 5-6 hours is not uncommon!
I came in from Bay Minette (Monday, December 11th, 2017) with Labor pains and I was taken immediately upstairs to labor and delivery, the staff was very nice and fast at getting me in and making sure I was taken care of. My Doctor Esther Davis showed up moments later and tried talking me out of the epidural and going for it because I was so far into Labor (7cm) I was determined to get the epidural even though my daughter was not giving it a chance to kick in before it was time to have her. I will NEVER be back to this hospital. From the rude lady st the front desk to the slowness of the doctors in the back, this has got to be by far the WORST experience I have EVER encountered with ANY hospital. They said they are busy yet All of the nurses are cackling at the desk while shoving their faces with food, meanwhile my poor 4 year old has laid here for almost 2 hours without ANY acknowledgment. they swabbed her for the flu as soon as we got here and that’s the last we have seen or heard from anyone. They really took care of me the nurses were really nice and hard working
VERY rude staff! I've called FOUR times to get very important lab results back that I was told would be here on Monday, today. They've transferred me to different departments without informing me first so I was clueless what to say. Then was rude when I called back! Still no results and no call.
My boyfriend had an appointment at 12:30 for a CT scan. Left my house at 11:00 to get there. They said it would take 30 minutes, I told them ok that we were in a hurry and had to get back home in time to let my dog out so I could then leave for work. They assured me it would be over in plenty of time. Well 3 hours 45 minutes later we are finally leaving. There is no time to drive back and hour to let my dog out and then 2 hours to my work.
