Would not even give 1 syar but I had to in order to leave this review! I cannot believe that Solara is still in business! I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 30 YEARS and I have never had to deal with a more negligent medical supply company. The ONLY reason I had to use them was because of my insurance company which SOLARA charged for supplies that I NEVER received. They suck. Try phoning them for reorder. Got hold and requested call back. Got one without an extension to request. Therefore you have to call the 800 number and try again. Did this 3 times and instead held for 25 minutes for someone to pick up. " you are not eligible until 24 days from now. Guess what, my runs out in 9 days. Well, you should have called tech support, let me transfer you. On hold 20 minutes then hung up. These people obviously don't have diabetes and can give a rats ass about them. Where do I start? the only reason I use this company is that my insurance forces me to otherwise I would find someone else. I placed an order to renew my sensors and transmitters around July 17th. When they did not arrive the day before the ones I was using expired on July 26 I checked the order on the App only to see it was canceled. Call them to find out it needed to be authorized by insurance. But do not learn this for almost 2 weeks and many phone calls later. We have been using Solara Medical Supplies for quite some time. Their Customer Service department is very helpful and have always tried to go above and beyond to fix the incompetencies that their Billing Department has. Every time we have had an issue it stems from Billing. They do not notify you when there is an issue, they are unprofessional, threatening, rude and overall not helpful even to their own Customer Service department. My daughter who is T1D has the worst time getting her medical supplies every single time! The worst company ever to work with to get life saving supplies!!! If our insurance covered for someplace else, believe me we would go. Horrible and sad it is this way!

After reading several of these reviews i see that many of the complaints are the same. Ive been trying to get my sensors for weeks now! They claim my dr has not faxed over the proper paperwork. Which they have multiple times! Because of this company’s incompetence Im going to end up in the ICU or dead. Im starting to think the only way to get them to do their jobs effectively is to threaten legal action. Is there anyone here that knows how to make that happen??

Solara is terrible company, just wish them to close down, their customer service is useless, i gave them my doctor name and in system they put some other doctor name who i have no idea who it is, they don't know anything! I spoke with 3 customer service representatives, I have never seen such stupidity! Solara, please, close down, your put people health in jeopardy.

Absolutely last time I order with them. So many issues. First of all, good luck getting through to a live person. If you aren't on hold for 20-30, minutes, when they do answer, you get disconnected often. Or if you leave a call back number, it hangs up when you answer. *Tip* if you select that you are a NEW customer, you get through pretty much right away. Second, they don't notify you if there is a problem with your order. They just leave it in processing limbo until you realize it's not shipping. I am still waiting on an ... read more

Terrible customer service. They have never alerted me when there was a problem with my order (Dexcom G6) and there have been SO many problems. I’ve been without my sensor for over 20 days now. I call every day. Still no sensors. Getting through to customer service is painful. The app is buggy. I’m done. I’m switching providers
