RecommendedThe food is amazing! We live in Knoxville and there is no Smokey Bones there, we drove all the way to Chattanooga just for their food.
My 2 top got the non pleasure of an inexperienced server on Tuesday, she was lost it seemed, the table we were sat at was dirty, no salsa for the nachos that should come with the crowd pleaser, and how about that server giving us our appetizer and meal at the same time! How dumb! it's called an appetizer for a reason duh! And then, I found a "DAY DOT" in my Mac and cheese, gross! I work in the food industry and I know exactly what a DAY DOT is! This is not real BBQ . Not even close I don’t think it would be difficult to have better tasting food if maybe they just send the lead cooks to the Houston rodeo once a year for some first had look and hands on training what real BBQ suppose to be. Stop being cheap and invest in your cooks. You have no competition in this part of the country you all should be killing it !!
Waiter asked to see my ID, I presented my TN handgun carry permit and was then asked by waiter if I was carrying. I was not at the time, but was told that if I had been I would be asked to take my gun to my car. Instead, my husband and I took ourselves to the car and left. It is my right to carry and none of the wait staff’s business what is in my purse. Not a very big restaurant for a large family. I would not recommend this place.
RecommendedTypically great food and good service, tonight was the exception when serving our food they spilled my husbands drink down the front of both of us. While they brought us towels for us to clean it up they offered nothing else. Then the wings my husband were served were charred so badly the wings were hard and unedible. they did bring new ones out but again no apologize or anything. We finished our dinner while soaking wet and sticky. I understand accidents happen but could have at least apologized.
