The food was very delicious, I had the pulled pork. My friend had a salad topped with chicken strips. Kenny was a very good waiter, he was concianious went out of his way to make us happy and satisfied.

Normally my food is on point. Last night they threw a thick piece of brisket in the container didn't bother to shred it. Then I poured on what I thought was the brown sugar glaze on my chicken and idk if they were being funny but it was like they poured in hot sauce Needless to say I hate hot sauce and it ruined y meal. I was sad bc it's one of my fav local spots since it opened.

Service has always been slow there, but waiting more than 10 minutes at a table and no one even stops by for a drink order isn't worth the effort for their food. (At least 4 servers walked right past us and no one even asked if we had been helped.) We left and went elsewhere.

My husband had the pulled pork and it was great; however, I had the smoked chicken breast and it was awful. Very dry and tasteless.

We have never been disappointed with any time we visited Smokey Bones in Lakeland Fla. Service is always 5 star and food is always excellent.
