S&B is always a favorite spot when I visit the area. So much so, that my daughter took me there for my Birthday on Mother’s Day brunch!
We have to be dairy/cow free for my daughter. We get issues in so many places. But our waitress was fantastic and checked on anything we needed. The protein burger was fantastic! As well as the sweet potato fries. Would soberly recommend!
We came to Adam's Morgan to go to a different restaurant but found out that it was closed when we arrived. We walked around to find a place to eat and stumbled upon Smoke and Barrel and was not disappointed. We were promptly greeted by Secret, a lovely bartender, when we took seats at the bar. They have an extensive Bourbon a Scotch Whisky selection and suggested others based on our taste profile since one was a short pour. We were not even charged for the short pour. Great vegan wings and beer selection! I also enjoyed the jalapeno cheddar grits!
This is my go to every time I’m in the district. The vegan wings are amazing as is everything else!
