Monday nights with the Washington Psychotronic Film Society in the Bottom of the Barrel - there is nothing else like it in Washington DC - always a fun time watching films of a peculiar interest!
Came to DC for a hockey game and stumbled across this gem! Not only were they the only bar open at 2:30 but they had a great selection of beers on draft and bourbons! Not to mention the amazing food! Jace was bartending and made us feel right at home as if we were at our local watering hole. Then to top it off they had our hometown Genny Cream Ale in Tap! 10/10 will be back! Great hole in the wall!
I recently took a trip to DC and found this place using my HappyCow vegan food finding app. I have never been so pleasantly surprised in all my life. My non-vegan friend and I went for brunch on Saturday, and we loved it so much we went back on Sunday before we left! The vegan wings are AMAZING! Plus, our server Peter was awesome both days. 10/10 would recommend. 😃
Fantastic beer selection with a knowledgeable server. Food is bbq made better. Only issue is I’m the only one at the bar celebrating the fact that the Red Sox just went back to back to back.

Ordered a BBQ sampler from Smoke & Barrel, delivered to my hotel room. I have a pretty good appetite and was pleasantly surprised the food and portions. I don’t write many recommendations, my order was in my room less than 40minutes, hot and delicious!
Fantastic, fast service, great food, and great beer and bourbon selection.
Amazing!!! Can’t wait to visit again
