The good here is amazing. The flavor and sauces are great. Its a must try. There is also and vegan menu

The best vegan wings! Every time I visit DC Smoke and Barrel is a must. The sides are fantastic and the vegetarian chili is outstanding. Great assortment of beer choices and the staff is quality as well. The best.
This was the best pulled pork I've ever had - the flavor was so good that I didn't use any sauce. The sweet potato fries were crunchy outside and tender inside, absolutely perfect. Our server, Carlton, took excellent care of us! If you've never been to Smoke and Barrel, you need to go.
Hands down Delicious. Great selection of Whiskey and surprisingly insanely satiating vegan food. That said, service is quite slow. As someone who has spent years in the restaurant industry, the service was actually kind of befuddling. Whether it is busy or not drinks take insanely long to come out, and the servers seem to have no pep in their step. The meat was pretty good, and I would be willing to go back, but not specifically for the BBQ. It was good, but not great. If I were rating the BBQ alone, it would only be 3 stars. The prices were decent, and the restaurant and the staff were very nice. They also had a really good selection of beers on tap.
