Sucked at first, learning that at 50 have to have hip replacement, but after surgery and 6weeks was able to sleep better and get around much easier. I am 3mnths into it and playing golf more often and picked up pickleball. Hopefully be back to normal in a few months.
Not the news I wanted to hear, but suggestions provided about treatment options were encouraging. It was evident that I was dealing with an experienced doctor. I’m comfortable with this practice. Good people.
I was more than impressed with my initial visit!!! I had been told that Dr. Smith was one of the top surgeons who performed knee replacements in the Austin, Texas area. He and his staff were extraordinarily friendly, professional and efficient!! I feel very comfortable having him as my surgeon!!!

They are efficient, treat patients with respect, answer all question to the best of their knowledge. I’ve always felt comfortable with Dr. Smith and his associates, he’s done surgery on me before and it was a success. I trust him to do what is best for me.
Been going to Dr. Smith and his office for years. Every time I get fast professional service. I like having a Dr. and staff I can trust for orthopedics. I like getting the x-rays, diagnosis, and treatment for injuries in one office in the same visit from Dr. Smith and his staff. Thank you!
Dr Smith has done both of my hip replacements & I have no complaints. Both times he explained alternatives, options as far as materials, etc. & recommendations so I could make an informed decision. Surgery was a last resort. Staff is always very professional, yet friendly & caring.
Dr. Smith listened ad I explained what was bothering me. He did an exam and then did a good job of explaining what he felt my condition was and a plan of action.
Very fast and professional. Took my concerns about ongoing pain seriously and changed my regiment of treatments. Respectful of my input, opinions and decisions.
