I was very disappointed. My daughter needs to have her wisdom teeth removed. I gave the receptionist her insurance information and card. After meeting the doctor, of which he put a stick in her mouth and said yes she needs her wisdom teeth out. The receptionist then came and met with me and said my insurance is out of network and it will be $120 today. She knew it was out of network when I gave her my card. She should have told me before we even went back to see the doctor. Bad business!
Poor bedside manner. He pulled my daughters wisdom teeth and she came out of the surgery crying because she was in so much pain. We had to wait until after his next surgery to speak to him. he seemed annoyed and showed zero compassion. He told us to go to the pharmacy to get her prescription filled and offered no further help or follow-up.
Dr Seltzer and his team are TOP NOTCH! They really know their stuff. I went to see them for an extraction and it all went exceedingly well! They made me feel totally comfortable and answered all of my questions leaving no stone unturned. The procedure seemed to take no time at all and all of my fears were put to rest in their extremely capable hands. Willy P , Powell OH.
Dr smeltzer did my jaw surgery 11 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. I've seen other oral surgeons since then for my other side of my jaw and no one does a jaw surgery like him with such great results . Most doctors tell me to go back to him because it was so successful. He is the best oral surgeon around .
He took out 2 teeth for me on 2 different occasions.The staff was very compassionate knowing the pain and discomfort I was experiencing. Dr. Smeltzer is very skilled in what he does. The first procedure required that I be sedated. I woke up and it was over. That simple. No pain, no nightmare experience. Ditto on the second. No complications either. I can only commend Dr. Smeltzer and his staff for their professionalism, competence and being plain nice in dealing with patients in pain & fear.
