DO NOT USE!!!!...The man who came to the house for a boiler service was RUDE, OBNOXIOUS & INCOMPETENT. Every time I asked a question, his response was "you don't need to know that" and while he should have been working all he did was complain about he ****** his job was. He took the drain out of the washing machine to bleed the system and forgot to put it back; we didn't notice and when we went to do a load of laundry the ENTIRE basement flooded! I called customer service at least 5 times and NOT ONCE did I get a return call... read more

I called Slomin's because they are the oil company I used and have a contract with them on Wednesday July **, 2016 approximately 7pm. The gentleman I spoke to the phone said he can get somebody out to me that night. I said I have 2 young children and I have to pick my mother up from the airport. That wasn't a problem, so we set up an appointment for Thurday July **, 2016 for the morning before 1pm to be precise. I took the day from work and woke up at 6:50am. First of all, this company does not disclose verbally that you are signing a 5 year contract when you inquire and enter into a service agreement with them. You need to be aware that if you sign a contract with them, you will most likely be locking yourself into 5 years of service, and will have to pay exorbitantly high fees to be released from the contract. In 2012 I've signed a Contract with Slomin to deliver Oil to my house, Since my contract was for a year , my understanding after the year is over, Slomin's Would continue to deliver oil until the customer says stop. On April 14th,2014 I called Slomin's to stop delivery, because at the time my broiler was not working and I started to look into converting to Gas; They failed to stop the delivery and charged me closed to $500 for the delivery.
