I really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of this hidden gem! The people are extremely friendly from the time you walk in the door and until you leave! The best part is the food is absolutely amazing! You get huge servings and each bite is home cooking at its finest! I definitely want to go back and eat soon! It's my new favorite restaurant!

This is the best place I have ever eaten. Chicken n dumplings tasted just like my grandmothers.
I love going there. The food is great. I always pick at the help and tell them the food is alright I guess, but it was great see you again. It takes 45mins from Jackson and is worth the drive.

There is no better place to eat in TN. If you want REAL home-cooking, this is the place, period. The menu is BIG and everything is fresh-made. I've eaten here about every week to 10 days for they opened, and I keep coming back. Do yourself a favor and visit Sling Shot Charlie's. You will not regret it.
