Great place...wonderful food and staff!!! Ordered chicken and dressing.
My wife and I eat out a lot and often find ourselves unhappy at the end, but just the opposite with Sling Shot Charlie's. We've been there several times in the last three months, including the last time when we took a food "expert" and his wife from Arkansas. We were exceedingly pleased. The fried fish, vegetables, bread, and endless dessert list of desserts were incredible. Great service and even better food!! Good home cooking that everyone in the family enjoyed...we will definitely be back!
The meatloaf was amazing! 5 of us ate for under 60$, and everyone loved their meals.
It is truly country cooking. Don't expect frills. However, if you like scratch food, perfectly cooked, this is the place. Other 'home cooking' places use a can- Ms Betty doesn't.
Absolutely ridiculous place. '10 minute' wait turned into twenty minutes for this country bumpkin style diner. After we were sat, the poor of an excuse of a server came by asked how we were doing and walked off. My wife then approached the younger of the three servers and asked kindly for service to which her response was that the server would be with us when she was able. Ten minutes sitting at a table and can't even get a glass of water. Again: ridiculous.
Husband loves gizzards, so we had to try. We will be back.
Best customer service I've had in a long time. Best eggplant ever!
Absolutely amazing, food and service I've been in food service over 40 years and these are the places I seek out when I travel. My third trip to Sling Shots and I'll be back
