I've lived with shoulder pain for several years, Dr. Sledge thought he could reduce my pain with shoulder surgery. We did an MRI and he confirmed what he suspected was wrong with my shoulder. I had shoulder surgery in December 2022 and the surgery was extremely successful in my opinion because the pain post-surgery was better than my everyday pain before the surgery. Was seen for tendinitis of shoulder
Rare that I bother with writing an online review - but feel I have to in this case. I've had great doctors over the years but Dr. Sledge is the top of my experience; both in personability and expertise! Initially recommended by one friend, others who had been successfully treated by Dr. Sledge came out of the woodwork to let me know he was "the guy" and had fixed their shoulders. I would send my mom to see Dr Sledge and Ashley Book. I don't send my mom just anywhere believe me. My spouse and I have seen Dr S for many years and will not see anyone else unless it's an emergency and then it better be life or death. Dr S and Ashley are tops in their field. Even the office staff are all pleasant and easy to work w/ , easy to make appts and easy to get ahold of. I would recommend Dr S w/o a 2nd thought.
Had my left rotator cuff repaired by Dr. Sledge and from the moment of the first call to me to my very last office appointment, he and his office are truly outstanding!!!! Don't go to anyone else except for Dr. Scott Sledge. He's also a military veteran which is a great talking point with him.
I am 64 and Dr. Sledge is the best Dr. I have ever had! His office staff very helpful, his PA, Ashley is fabulous and Dr. Sledge has the rare combination of knowledge, professionalism and personality that made my shoulder surgery success and the process smooth. Follow his advise and you will be back on you feet sooner than most. Dr. Sledge was my 3rd. opinion for rotator cuff surgery (100% tear) and I knew immediately that I was choosing him. Dr. Sledge came highly recommended by physical therapists whom I trust. I was not disappointed. Dr. Sledge is thorough in examination, is a good listener, and articulate in diagnosis and treatment recommendations. His staff is competent and friendly. It is unfortunate that he does not accept medicare, but worth the expense to receive excellent care.
Dr Scott Sledge and his team are great! Very personable and they really take your health and pain seriously. It was a very thorough visit and they made me pain free in my shoulder.
Back in 2017 I met Dr Sledge and his PA Ashley Book. My PCP reccomended Dr Sledge as he did my PCP shoulder surgery. Cannot get a better review then that. They took great care and even when I had problems over the weekend they were able to guide me over the phone. I have been back for issues with my other shoulder, surgery not required but both Dr Sledge and Ashley Book guided me in recovering from sever muscle strain in shoulder.
