“Simply the best shoulder surgeon!”
I called on a Monday, saw Dr. Sledge on Wednesday the same week. The staff was just amazing, so efficient with everything including on the same day as my appt. they called & within 20 minutes had my MRI approved by my insurance & had me scheduled just down the road @ Concord Imaging the very same day 3 hours later for MRI of my shoulder! This amazed me at how well trained & compassionate Dr. Sledge & his office staff are?? Dr. Sledge spent over 40mins listening to my shoulder issues. Amazing
Dr Sledge operated on rotator cuffs in both of my shoulders within 3 months of each other. Prior to surgery, I had very limited mobility and a lot of pain. It is 4 months from the second surgery now and I have 100% mobility and no pain. Dr Sledge really knows what he is doing and I would recommend him to anyone. His PA Ashley Book is highly skilled and very warm, friendly and helpful as are the rest of his staff especially Maria !
Dr Sledge is a very personal doctor. He takes the time to talk and understand his patients. I recently lost my husband and I appreciate his deep concern for my loss. He explained my medical problem and directed me to have therapy. He expects therapy to take care of my problem, but if for some reason it does not, he offered another solution. I highly recommend Dr Sledge, he is not just another doctor, he is truly concerned for his patients and a people person.
He definitely knows what he is doing. He is very friendly and his staff is as well. He breezes in and out but he certainly determines the problem and course of treatment in a short time. It's fine with me since my life is very busy also. In my case, we picked the least intrusive treatment and have done well.
Excellent care, very personable and thorough. I would recommend them to everyone!
San Antonio has one of the best shoulder surgeons and staff on the planet ?? Removed 2 bone spurs, repaired torn cuff and bicep retraction. Thank you Dr Scott Sledge, MD Orthopedic Surgeon and staff. Really felt like I was a good friend or family by the whole staff!!!!
Dr Sledge is a very kind and compassionate physician that truly cares about each patient. It’s not just about doing surgery. He takes time to know about his patients and helps them explain the treatments.
I had both shoulders rotator cuff repair done. Dr. Sledge and PA Ashley are AWESOME!!!! They are both so friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel important. Very personable. Ashley takes the time to explain what the problem is and what the solution will be. She listens to concerns and is very reassuring. I would nominate these 2 as Dr. and PA of the Year. Great Team work. Highly recommend....
