Dr Sledge did my shoulder surgery and I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome and overall experience. He is a very kind, and a skilled surgeon. He always makes you feel like your concerns are important to him. His PA, Ashley Book, and his nurse, Mariel, are so patient and wonderful. Wether you see Dr. Sledge or his PA, you will never be disappointed with your care. The office staff are the best and very professional. Always friendly. I can't recommend these lovely people enough!
Dr. Sledge is a very personable and thorough diagnostition / surgeon. I have visited his office on 2 occasions, and both times he was very pleasant, thorough, and listened to what I had to say. He provided practical and sound advice and didn't jump to surgical options unnecessarily. On this most recent visit he was 15 minutes EARLY for the appointment.
Dr. Sledge repaired a torn rotator cuff for me six years ago. Dr. Sledge and his staff took excellent care of me; he procedure went extremely well and my recovery was very easy. I recently needed the same procedure performed on my other shoulder and I went to see Dr. Sledge without any hesitation. Again, I received outstanding care and my recovery from this procedure was even easier than my first. Dr. Sledge and his staff receive my highest recommendation, as well as, my sincerest gratitude.
Excellent providers are very hard to come by and I want everyone to know that there are excellent providers out there!! I have been a patient of Dr. Scott Sledge and Ashley Brooks since 2013.It took me a very long time to write this review, life happens… The first time I experienced “frozen shoulder” (I never heard of it), one of my colleagues introduced me to Dr. Sledge’s office. Dr Sledge took his time with me and didn't make me feel rushed when I was explaining my reason for the visit. Very personable and kind. He came highly recommended and glad to report he lived up to the hype.
Dr. Sledge has a well organized and smooth operating clinic. All staff have been very pleasant via phone and in person. I have not waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room or in his office. Each time I see Dr Sledge he is smiling and upbeat, his good mood is contagious. My husband was impressed when Dr Sledge came out to let him know my surgery went very well. The communication with the office has been outstanding by phone, e-mail or in person. Great experience all the way around.

Dr. Sledge and staff are wonderful! Little to no wait time. Dr. Sledge explained everything in great detail. Surgery wasn't recommended - injection & PT was enough. His PA, Ashley Book, was also a joy to work with. Excellent staff - they are obviously treated well by Dr. Sledge. I love their punctuality, without making you feel rushed. I would recommend anyone with shoulder issues to see this wonderful team!
Dr. Sledge repaired both of my rotator cuff issues on both arms. I have had no problem with either one and one of them was done in 2011. He has great bed side manner and is informative with out speaking down to you. His staff is very helpful and clearly goes through the documentation with you. I cannot recommend him enough.
