Skippers is a wonderful venue. Great music and food. Always meet awesome people!!!
The trees, the music, the food, even the Swamp juice makes this place such a gem in Tampa.
The staff is amazing! And the food off the chain.. and the music!!! Love this place.. oh and they let us hold drum circles on Thursdays.... Wonderful.
I love this space, but it could use some repairs. Our bench and table fell apart as we were seated on it. Food and service and entertainment FANTASTIC!
Just go there... forget everything and enjoy this place!
I read all these posts from people who chose to dine at Skipppers, Wow, this isn't a chain eating establishment, so if that's what u are looking for, save your time and money. I been visiting Skippers since 1999 and never had a negative thing to say. The food is always on point, and Skippers offers meals that can't be found anywhere in the area. Yes, it is a rundown looking place, but don't be deceived by the appearance. It is very nostalgic !! I give 6 thumbs up !!
Great live venue, good food, and an excellent staff.
Please help me! I do want to like Skippers, but on the several occasions I've been there the food was horrible. I had a burger which was obviously frozen and dry as a desert. My friend had the grouper Reuben which was a total disaster. So unappealing. Based on these reviews, we are ordering the wrong food. Help!
Great place for live music. Truly has that "old florida" feel. Was a typical hot June evening. But at an outdoor venue would have appreciated a couple more fans or misters. Also, our bench seat was broken and kept tipping.
