The food was nothing to brag about. And it was impossible to see the band from the seats. Hugely disappointed.
We had a fantastic time Sunday night listening to Steppin Stones. Bought 2 c.d.s. They are fantastic!
The swamp juice is awesome I don't do mix drinks I'm a shots kind of lady but that juice was awesome
Place is run down. Bar smells like shit and puke. In fact if I went into the bar itself before ordering food I would have just not ordered any food despite being starving. Ribs and okra cost me 26 bucks and both tasted like they came out of a frozen bag. Worst ribs I've ever had in my entire life. All said I won't go back.
Most of their seafood is up in my top 10 list. The Calamari is the best and lightest I have ever had. Their raw oysters are always fresh and select size. It has a dive character to it. I love the outdoor music venue. they have top musicians nightly. The Parking sucks. but part of the adventure I guess.
I've been visiting Skippers for nearly 30 years. It's been consistently great in terms of the food, service, and experience. I'm now introducing my kids to Skippers and hope that they'll do the same one day.

Awesome place to see a show! Steady stream of amazing bands always on cue and good drink prices!!
Skippers is an awesome place to go to hear live music.....preferably the blues!! I heard Damon Fowler there for the first time many years ago and instantly became a fan. The atmosphere at Skipper's is like being at home in your backyard with friends. Good food, good drinks, good people and great music!
