It is great to have this option instead of hiring random day laborers or asking friends to help. Affordable alternative. The professional movers were great. Fast, efficient and great at loading the truck. However, on the unpack side we had helpers... they arrived super early... before my truck, which was stressful. Then they were ill equipped for the job...one had a bum knee and the other a bad attitude and he was rude to the guy he was working with, creating a tough environment. You really have to watch to make sure these guys are packing you stuff properly. They packed it good and tight, but in such a way as rubbing during transit damaged the bejeezus out of our belongings. I wouldn't use them again.

There were four people to assist our move. One of them was a woman who did virtually nothing. She was lazy and stood around even after given instruction. Two of the men worked very hard and did most of the heavy lifting. The other man was not motivated but did work as instructed. I would not recommend this service to anyone for moving. In Los Angeles we paid less for professional movers which were outstanding. I paid a lot more money for untrained laborers which only two of them deserved a tip. Wow! I read all these reviews before I posted my review. My experience was the best ever! We started in NJ with two professional movers. They were fantastic. They had three floors of our home to move. So they were moving clothes, boxes, furniture.... They packed the truck, wrapped all furniture and tied down everything. They were respectful to us and our belongings. They were on time. It was a pleasure working with them. Hubby drove truck to SC. Showed up late. Brought a dog. Two of the three guys were constantly checking their phones. Didn't know how to load a truck. Broke things in front of us. I got movers to save me time and they cost me a day and a half. Had to repackage the truck so my stuff would fit. Called to complain and they insisted that they sent me a certified moving crew and not labor. Would never suggest anyone use this company. Ever. Your better off calling a local moving company and asking for their crew to pack your truck.

We booked in advance: 3 workers to unload our truck for 3 hours. 1 guy showed up. He was old and fat and slow. This guy knew one of the other 2 and called him to ask if he was coming. The guy said he couldn't find the address, got mad and went home. The 3rd guy never showed up or called in. Luckily our new neighbor helped us and the old guy did his best. We were exhausted. Even on Labor Day weekend, I received a quote and follow-up phone calls to plan my mom's move so it could happen at lightening speed. The two movers were efficient, knew what they were doing, and were super patient and friendly. Great experience.

The two professional movers that handled the load for me were timely, courteous, and efficient. I could not have completed my move without their help. One item did get damaged but in moving a glass object I know these things can occur. Overall I was still quite satisfied with their service.

These guys are crooks. They damaged some of my furniture so badly that it is no longer usable. They use the apparent "industry standard" policy of only awarding damages at .60 per pound. I received $269.40 for $2000 worth of damage.
