Newbury street~ perfect location. Warm and clean. Staff were extremely helpful.
We really felt at home and loved the neighborhood we were in. The patio was a plus. I had one glass of champagne out there, then it was too cold! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked with cooking utensils. Chairs and couch weren't really too comfortable. Overall a good experience and well situated for getting to activities.
I really liked being in a neighborhood with stores easily available. Also, it was close to connections, so accessing the Duck or the Trolley was easy ( if you like walking). The seating in the apartment was so-so, abundant enough but not very comfortable. The bed I had was comfy. The apartment was well equipped to allow for any cooking. The patio was unique in the area. In warmer weather it would have been lovely. All in all, a great place.
My good friend and I stayed on Marlborough St for 4 nights. We thought the building was wonderful - great wood floors, crooked walls and heavy doors. The bedrooms are small but the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. And the neighborhood is Back Bay beautiful with short walks to the Charles River and Newbury St! Loved it!
Horrible experience! The pictures do not represent the reality of the unit at all! The neighborhood was run down and not a place to vacation! I felt extremely uncomfortable from the second we arrived, so much so that we cancelled immediately and stayed elsewhere.I highly recommend NOT using STR Boston, in particular the Northampton unit, not a place for a family trying enjoy the beautiful city of Boston and definitely not for children!
DO NOT USE STR BOSTON! You have been warned. Pictures were not representative of unit. I booked the unit on Northampton. Very shady neighborhood. I was unhappy from the minute I stepped foot in the unit. So much so that I cancelled my stay after 2 hours and they refused to refund a penny. Scott Kirkwood the Director of Operations was extremely UNHELPFUL in every way. I also find it strange that Scott Kirkwood is one of the 5 star reviews on this facebook page. Apartment on Tremont was perfect for our stay in Boston with our two kids. The check in process was easy and the apartment was clean and comfortable.
