Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939, began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in our third generation of family ownership and operation and in our 77th season. Shoreline Sightseeing has a fleet of ten touring vessels and nine water taxis. In 1996, we brought the first water taxis to Chicago. All our touring vessels have been custom built or custom modified to offer our passengers the highest standards of comfort and safety.

Amazing architectural tour via beautiful Downtown Chicago waterways, exceptional skyline views and fun ambiance! Ben, our boat tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Chicago Architecture and was entertaining. Highly recommend.

what a great tour. the staff was great. our guide/docent Kyle was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Chicago. he made us want to stay an extra day. look forward to coming back. also thankful that snacks abd drinks were reasonably priced unlike most tourist stops
We did the 10pm architectural tour on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Our tour guide was Rachel and she was amazing! She is a wealth of knowledge and did a great job sharing her knowledge with us. We were also able to see the fireworks which was a nice added bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour a would highly recommend this to others. Especially a night tour if you want to see the beautiful city lights.
Beautiful and fun for the whole family. The architectural tour was informative and gave us a new and unique view of the city that can’t be experienced walking the streets. Definitely family-friendly (we had 5 children ages 1 - 12 with us) but educational for history buffs and students alike. The crew was friendly and helpful from the start at the ticket kiosk through the cruise, as well as at the souvenir photo stand. We would definitely take this tour again!
