About this business
Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939, began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in our third generation of family ownership and operation and in our 77th season. Shoreline Sightseeing has a fleet of ten touring vessels and nine water taxis. In 1996, we brought the first water taxis to Chicago. All our touring vessels have been custom built or custom modified to offer our passengers the highest standards of comfort and safety.

Great tour! Ben is the best
This was so much fun, and entertaining! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. All the staff were friendly and make the experience that much mora enjoyable! I would definitely recommend doing this if you’re ever in Chicago, as it was relaxing and incredibly gorgeous to see especially in the evening!!

Tour guide Jim did a marvelous job as describing the buildings, history and architectural marvels of Chicago as we cruised on the river. We've visited Chicago many times over the years but because of work schedules we never had time to do it. We were not disappointed when we had the chance to do it and we highly recommend it. Jim not only informed, he interacted with us all in a comfortable and entertaining fashion. We learned many things we never knew about Chicago and we have been here many times. Amazing and knowledgeable tour guides
What a great tour! The building are amazings by water. We had the BEST tour guide, Kevin. He was knowledgeable, funny and he even played the harmonica for us as we went pack to port! I highly recommend the tour!
