About this business
Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939, began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in our third generation of family ownership and operation and in our 77th season. Shoreline Sightseeing has a fleet of ten touring vessels and nine water taxis. In 1996, we brought the first water taxis to Chicago. All our touring vessels have been custom built or custom modified to offer our passengers the highest standards of comfort and safety.

Very knowledgeable, you can’t help but learn something every time you go on one of your architectural boat tours. I have lost count on how many I have been on over the years, definitely worth it. The free water taxi ride to Navy Pier if you purchase the tickets from outside 200 S Wacker was an added bonus!
It was, for me, a wonderful way to view the amazing range of buildings in downtown Chicago, and to learn about them from your clearly experienced guide. I would recommend any visitor to Chicago to go on one of your tours.
