Hands down the most excellent food and service in Lynchburg. I just celebrated my wedding celebration at the Craddock Terry and Shoemakers catered/served the entire event. I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality and service of the staff. The food was cooked to perfection. The food displays were creative, unique, and enticing. Everything was superb. Shoemakers is always a treat for us. The service is first-rate and the food is excellent. They have the best steak in town, bar none! Their Gorgonzola-encrusted ribeye is scrumptious!
The food is phenomenal from the appetizers to the entrees. The wine varieties are great. Most important the staff make the experience worth while!

My dirty martini was perfect. My husband and I both had steaks... cooked perfectly. Wait staff was excellent. The decor was wonderful and matched well with the Craddock Terry hotel next door! Shoes!!! The outside venue was marvelous as well in a beautiful Virginia evening.
