Our Server was Stephanie. Probably the very best server I've ever had in my 50 years. Our family of seven came in from Missouri. We previously owned a restaurant and we thought this could be the best restaurant ever. It has made our first day on our trip to Lynchburg awesome. We had our first Valentine's Day dinner here 4 years ago. We enjoyed the most amazing meal with a fabulous waitress, Joyce. We have been back on several occasions over the years. We got married during that time too. We received a gift card from family members who wanted us to go back and enjoy another wonderful meal. The BEST steak I ever had! It wasn't my steak but it was my fiancés, he let me try it and I wish I had gotten it for myself!!! This was a last minute decision to come here but I am SO beyond glad we did. We certainly will be going there again! Very professional, well trained staff too. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. If you do go, I recommend the silver mushroom appetizer, BEYOND delicious!!! Lovely ambiance too. Great place for a romantic dinner.

We celebrated our 9th anniversary at Shoemakers NYE. The service was good and the food was excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster tail was delicious. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
