Never again! Arrived at 8:45 this morning and checked in...mine you, they “open” at 9 on Sunday. Waited in our car, with our cat, until 1:15 this afternoon before being called in. When I checked in, there were not that many people ahead of us but for whatever reason, it took that long for them to see our cat. I don’t have that kind of time to kill on my weekend plus the fact that I missed a dose of my medication because of being there that long. We’ll be going elsewhere from now on.
The wait times are beyond ridiculous and unacceptable. It’s worse than a human hospital ER. They are good at what they do and have some great doctors. But unless you have a whole day to just sit and wait, I would go elsewhere.
RecommendedAlthough the outcome is not positive, we finally got all the answers we need to make a heartfelt, loving and responsible decision for our dear dog Lily. These people were amazing, full of compassion and information.
they would not take my dog who had completely lost the use of his back legs. they said it wasn't an emergency!! these people are heartless as*holes who don't even deserve the title of vet!
We have been waiting in the car for over 2 hours with an anxious chihuahua!!! They have assured us that we would be called back next but they’re calling other people back!!!😡
This place cares more about money then the actual well being of an animal. Just because I'm new to them they wouldn't work with me one bit and flat out refused allowing me to hold a check until two days later when I gladly told them I would make the full payment they were charging. The main vet refused to talk to me in person. I thought the whole reason people became vets were to help animals in need not be too money hungry to actually assist one that was in need
1 word INCOMPETENT.. Office manager, Brenda needs to retire. She’s not capable of keeping up with a staff that runs around like kindergartners. If you need to see a circus before the Shriners come to town, go here.
Shively Animal Hospital is amazing. We took our sweet Sky last week to be euthanized due to her pain and ailments. It was so difficult losing my baby girl after 15 years. I thank god I had my sister by my side. The vet there was amazing. He treated us like we had a funeral for her. So sweet, so kind, so patient. He answered many questions because we had to know this was the right thing to do. We need so much negativity on fb! Just want to let people know it was so very peaceful.
