Don't ever take an animal here. Tried to make us pay 1000 dollars for doc to even look at my dog. 13 year old Boston terrier. If you love your dog go someplace else
This review is in memory of our 16.5 year old dog, Sox. We have been going to Shively Animal Clinic for well over 20 years. We had 4 dogs and 1 cat, so lots of visits, although sometimes I would go to another vet just because I could make an appointment and not spend all day waiting to see a vet. I have been seeing Dr. Joyce since 1997. I trust her with my babies. She never does anything that’s not necessary. Have called them at 2am and they meet me there. Last time was a very small after hours charge. Before I found Shively I went late at night to Jefferson animal cost me triple. Also used another vet. Pup was sick had all paperwork with what was going on. She got sick at night took paperwork to Jefferson animal they refused it. Said they needed to do the same test again. Left. Mary Jane is a great vet...they are all kind and courteous! they take such good care of your fur baby . and the prices are very reasonable
The doctors are incredibly dedicated! Best care and reasonably priced! Worth the several hours it might take.
