A very traumatic experience today at Shively. A woman came in with an unaltered Pit Bull. Big dog that she was having trouble controlling. The dog would pull, she was pulling back and she hit the dog on the rear twice in her attempt to control the animal. The woman sat next to me and the pit knocked into me moving my chair a bit. RecommendedThe staff is very professional, they actually care about the well-being of your animals more than the money. I've brought multiple dogs over the years for ACL surgeries, Removal of fatty tumors, and of course their yearly shots. The price on the ACL surgery was $2000 cheaper compared to the other vets I will always take my animals to Shively animal clinic and recommend that you do as well .
My family has gone to Shivley animal clinic and hospital for generations (grandmother,mother and now me) they have always in my opinion given top notch care and service . Last week I had to take my baby in ,it turned out to be cancer and I had to send him across the rainbow bridge. They treated me and my baby with love and compassion. They don't deserve one star. My dog was hit by a car yesterday. And I paid the deposit and this morning I called to check on him because they have not called me once for an update. The doctor and staff were extremely rude and hateful to me, the doctor laughed at me because I said I wasn't expecting this to happen to him and she laughed and said I didn't hit your dog so I didn't expect it to happen either.
