RecommendedThis is the ONLY place I will take my pets!!! Yes it makes it in for a long day when I go, but the doctors are fabulous!!! I have had my babies get their first shots there and also euthanize there when they got old. Great place!!!!
The doctors Fuchs have been caring for my family's pets since 1965. I would not consider taking our fur babies to any place else.
The wait is long, but the quality of care you get is worth it. I've taken my pets there since I was 14 in 1960. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Years ago Dr. Richard Fuchs told me they don't treat pets...they treat families, and your pet is a family member.
They wait is long but we'll worth it. They really cared about my critters and we're able to diagnose a condition in my dog where my old vet was unable. So glad I changed vets!
I took my dog there couse he go hit by a car i called first and they told me $70 up frunt and would be able to make a pament plan but when i go there they told me $200 and couse i ddnt have it they sent him home with out even checkin him out never goin there again
The Best You have to wait , They don't make appts.but they are worth the wait. They have pulled a couple of my dogs who were complicated and seriously ill from dying. No comparison to other vets. I totally trust they are giving the best care available and if it takes a few hrs. to wait. My pets are worth it
They saved my diabetic cat's life. I had taken him to a different vet closer to where i moved who correctly diagnosed him with diabetes. I was taking him to that vet to get his blood glucose taken every few days. All they did was keep increasing his insulin. I brought him back to Shively Animal Clinic after he had not moved for a little more than 4 hours. They took his blood sugar and it was sky high!! Dr. Mary Jane is a God-send and the staff are so friendly. Yes, there is a long wait to be seen, but it's totally worth the quality service you receive!
The only place we will take our allergy dog. They have always been very prompt and helpful, he has had to stay overnight twice (once to get x-rays to check for hip dysplasia and the other bc we had to get stitches when he cut his leg up pretty bad). They are wonderful and always helpful! Great place and great people!
