All staff were very friendly and very clean facility
In spite of the fact that I got there an hour early and that they still ran behind, the staff at Shephard couldn't have been better about still making sure that I was seen and discharged in time to catch my Paratransit bus ride...and with time to spare! Five out of five stars for this visit!
I enjoyed my experience here. I really do NOT like having the dilation done or the glaucoma exam, but the woman who did that part of my exam was sooo patient and understanding. The doctor was thorough and professional. The optical shop at the end where they helped me pick out my glasses—so helpful and explained everything I needed to know about my insurance. Now is probably not a good time to review. I first visited year before last. Almost 3 hours if go here then back, then here and back, then after 4 go here and backs I was finally done. Waited 2 weeks for my contacts. This year, only two go here then there and close to 2 hrs. Got contacts in 12 days. Now I have called and left 3 messages and emailed twice. NO RESPONSE ! So far I'm hatin ! My old eye place in and out in 30 minutes, contacts in 3 days and they return calls. But do not take my Ins.
After cornea transplants in both eyes over 10 years ago (not at Shepherd) astigmatism became quite bad in one eye making it difficult to get glasses without creating double vision and a very thick left eye lens. At 76 I didn't want anymore eye surgery. Others told me it was time to get separate reading and distant glasses. Thanks to Dr. T. Reddy and optician Diane, today I picked up one normal looking pair of glasses with excellent vision for both reading and distance and no double vision! Fantastic customer care! Thank you!
I have had two cataract surgeries and numerous other eye exams. The staff and doctors are great. Dr. Tushina Reddy is super.
