RecommendedHow lucky we were to find Shem Creek Inn. Our getaway was amazing staying here. Wonderful quiet stay. So many restaurants and bars within walking distance to end the day at. Would highly recommend this inn.

My husband traveled to Charleston for Business beginning in 2012. He found this gem of a hotel that has since become our getaway spot a few times a year! Always a great stay! The update has made it even better!!!

We were given a great table outside, but from then on a disaster. We were told meal was cooked wrong so they started over cooking our order. My fish sandwich looked like a McDonalds fish sandwich, rice was cold, fish platter, presented messy and food was luke warm and bland. Waiter was nice & kept apologizing. We were very disappointed, won’t go back and won’t recommend. Management gave us 1 meal free. I gave 2 points because of outside tables & we had a nice waiter. Very disappointed.
