We have stayed here many times over the last 20 years or so. It's a great location and a great place. You can walk down the docks where the boats tie up, or walk out over the marsh. Restaurants within walking distance, and just a short drive to Shem Creek Bar & Grill (another favorite place). Highly recommend to anyone.

Not much of a value for the money. Could use some sprucing up and some modernization.
A wonderful place for a easy interesting Vacation. IF YOU LIKE BOATS (all kinds) BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, NICE RESTURANTS, FISHERMEN BRINGING IN THEIR CATCH OF THE DAY, SHEM CREEK IS THE PLACE TO GO. SEE YOU THERE.
