Adopted a sweet Shiba Inu from Shelter From The Storm. Super friendly staff and they had a wealth of knowledge they shared with us. The application process was straight forward. They actually call your references which really shows they care! I would definitely recommend.
We adopted Gandalf (formerly named Catillac) in 2019. A friend of mine volunteers at SFTS and she posted a picture of her and Gandy and at that moment, I knew. The adoption process was super straightforward, super simple. Just remember to bring cash (because we totally forgot lol). Highly recommend for those looking to adopt.
We adopted our girl Juniper (formerly known as Water Spout) from SFtS on Friday. They were super helpful and accommodating, with a relatively simple application process. All forms and monetary transaction took place online which was super cool. They’ve also replied to emails, providing us with helpful tips and advice on how to make our first weekend with Juniper a successful adjustment. — with Alex Vlachakis.
My daughter adopted midnight (cat), hes 20 years old, & still behaves like a kitten. He's loving, cuddly, & extremely good natured. He is currently on asthma medication from a vet, & doing well. Thank you Shelter from the storm, we love midnight!
Their care & concern for their animals is exceptional. (Especially in such a limited budget....pitch in & Help!!)
We adopted our sweet Gordon Doodle, Jada Moon from SFTS 15 months ago. Not only is she amazing, but our interaction with this rescue was so great. Highly recommend.
