We called in the morning and were able to get an appointment before noon. We live in the city and own chickens and one happened to be wounded. However the timing was terrible as we were getting ready to leave town and the neighbors would take care of our flock for the week. Even though the doctor who specializes in avian wasn't working that day we were able to see a vet who has backyard chickens. RecommendedAll of our dogs have been cared for by Sheabel. They are not just a routine veterinary clinic— they are also an accredited pet hospital, boarder, and groomer. If you want your pets to be both loved and cared for, this is 100% the place for you and your pet. I’ve taken my pets there since 1997.
This is not our usual vet. We had to bring one of our Chihuahuas in on a Saturday for a high fever. They were able to get us in immediately. We were seen at our appointment time and the team there were really nice. The veterinarian was very knowledgeable and treated our girl with care. We would come here if we didn’t love our vet so much!
This is the absolute most caring, compassionate, and moreover COMPETENT practice in the Lexington and Nicholasville area. Everyone from the front desk, the nurses, vet techs and vets are just phenomenal. They all go the extra mile. More importantly, they listen. Not just to the owner but more importantly to the animal. Had to take our Persian for a groom. Couldn’t find any groomers locally so traveled and hour and a half and was not disappointed. Shondra works absolute wonders! Couldn’t be happier �
