As an ode to his Israeli roots, Chef Alon Shaya created Shaya as an innovative restaurant with elements borrowed from his Middle-Eastern ancestry. Excellent food, Anthony bourdain missed out big time, delicious shakshouka , hummus, watermellon and bulgarian cheese wow, eggplant was fantastic, best pita bread everand innovative creativity. This place really surprised me and stuck out. thank you for the delicious surprise and we hope to come back.
