Dr. Gilmore's office is unlike any dentist office that I have been to. It is more similar to that of visiting a spa. They welcome you by name, there is no waiting and then they whisk you off for the parraifn hand treatment. The hygenist is the absolute nicest (and best!) lady in the world and I DO NOT say that easily. I highly fear the office of a dentist.
This office has relieved me of my anxieties of dentistry in general. I had no idea that visiting the dentist could be a PLEASANT experience. I highly recommend visiting this office for any dental needs. They are a gifted bunch! Dr. Gilmore has made such an impression on me that even though I live an hour away, I will definitely return for future business!
Dr. Gilmore has performed two root canals and assorted dental work for my. Talk about pain free! Nothing is more important to me than finding a health care professional that really cares about you. I stopped shopping for dentists when I found Marsha, the front office manager. She is very friendly and knowledgable. She worked with my insurance, even though they were being difficult. When I arrived, the office looks more like a spa. They offer hand paraffin waxing, sunglasses, blankets and headphones. That all eased my anxiety. I started with Shauna with much "dental anxiety" from previous experiences. My teeth were so sensitive, I had a hard time with just the cleaning, much less fillings. She was so calm and patient, stopping frequently, using warm water to rinse, and so gentle. In the beginning I needed it all, numbing, the gas, and then home to bed because I had such a headache from being so anxious and tense. I am very happy to have found Dr. Gilmore, especially since I had no references from friends (thanks Dr.Oogle!). They were able to see me the same day and gave me a tour of the office, walked me through all the equipment & procedures and then did a very thorough cleaning & exam. They listened very closely to the areas of my concern and checked them out. The follow up visit to fix 3 older, leaking fillings was also perfect. I am definitely one of those people that DOES NOT LIKE to go to the dentist. I know that a lot of people feel that way, but this is for real - I tend to faint when I go! This was a wonderful experience from start to finish and I can't wait to go back!!
