there website says walk ins welcome. i drove over an hour to get there and when I went in, even though there was one kid getting a hair cut and no one else in the salon, they refused to give my daughter her first hair cut until 1215. if walk ins are not accepted take it off your website!!!!!
So... today, Franklin got a free haircut. He was a MONSTER!!! He was not having it at all... screaming, kicking, crying. I had to literally hold him down lol. BUT the ladies at Sharkey’s were just so amazing. They were so kind and sweet, and more patient than I could’ve imagined. Lyndsey cut his hair, and I just gotta give her a huge thank you again for being so awesome with my little monster of a baby man today. I would recommend this place to anyone a million times over. Thank y’all so much for being so great 💝
I absolutely loved this place. My son is on the spectrum and has never done well getting his hair cut. I have had to do it for years and I am not a stylist lol. But Lyndsey was wonderful with my son! So patient and sweet.. we will forever get Riley’s hair cut with Lyndsey!

My girls loved the entire experience! I appreciated the hair knowledge about my younger daughter’s hair (truthfully, I didn’t know anything about baby hair growth patterns!) and the patience of both stylists. I’m so glad we visited Sharkey’s, because both girls went from being terrified of haircuts to being thrilled and excited. They especially loved the glitter and nail polish. We will be back! :)
My husband took our 4 year old sensory sensitive son there today and he loved it so much. He had been growing his hair out long but it was getting difficult to care for. He got to sit in the lightening mcqueen seat since they were running just a few minutes behind. But then he wanted to play video games during his cut and style. I'm so glad that there is a salon just for kids in the area. It turned what is usually a stressful trip into a fun trip for our son!
