Some people prefer modern restaurants with wall mounted tanks filled with exotic fish. They expect Art Deco lighting and chairs made more for the sake of art, than comfort. Well, we’re old fashioned. Thick wood beams, with over two hundred years of wear, stretch from ceiling to the floor. Our sturdy tables and chairs remain for their comfort, to craddle you while enjoying a delicious meal. A no frills atmosphere will keep you content, and coming back from more. With age comes experience.

Great resturant!! Im from California so this was my very first time eating here with relatives!!!
Great drinks from the female bartender while we wait for our table. Clam chowder & lobster bisque had good flavor & were thick, not watery but hardly any actual seafood in them! My daughter enjoyed her fish & chips, hubby had mediocre nachos, a decent salad & chicken fingers. My broiled seafood platter was undercooked but the side of veggies was good. Sitting outside enjoying the view with a good drink is the main reason for 3 stars instead of 2!
The food was fantastic and so was the the wait staff.
Great Food And Sevice
Went there on my birthday was very happy they acknowledged it. Had a side of Mac n cheese too, it was really really good!
We were there tonight for dinner. Calamari was undercooked, and portion size was small (or the bowl was too big!). Crab cake and shrimp dish was over cooked and not seasoned. And the broiled seafood platter was NOT broiled, it was a few pieces of overdone seafood that was thrown on a plate with a few breadcrumbs on top, and completely unseasoned. Expensive and not worth it.
Excellent food. We had lobsters, whole belly clams and the seafood platter. All outstanding! We enjoyed the drinks and the amazing views of Lake Champlain.
Amazing apps, great drinks, great bartender! Had the oysters and shrimp cocktail served in a cute boat, and the escargot! Delicious!
Will Go back again ... so délicious !!
