During my last visit, I was supposed to get a basic teeth cleaning. In short I received many x-rays, cleaning of one specific tooth (shown by the x-ray to have a "spur"), and an exam by the dentist. The correction of the spur was performed by a water jet and some scrapper, then injection of an anti-biotic (about 15 mins). My old dentist/hygienist would use this water jet and scrapper on all my teeth to perform a throughout cleaning - coupled with a polishing at the end. I simply love Dr. Costa and his entire office staff. They are alway friendly and professional. Dr. Costa does an excellent job, I can not stand having fillings done but Dr. Costa made it absolutely painless/
From the removal of my old bridge to the cleanup of decay and fitting of temporary bridge, the procedure was completely painless. As always, Dr. Costa explained what he was going to do during the entire visit. And I appreciated the phone call from Dr. Costa later in the day to check on my welfare.
