Originally opened in the small town of Carlotta, California, loyal fans would drive hours to get their Shamus T Bones fix. Eventually, the co-owners decided to open a larger location in Eureka, and they built their dream restaurant from the ground up right by the beautiful Humboldt Bay. Great place, great food and friendly service. The oysters on the half shell are incredible and the meats are done to perfection. Met Chris Berry, owner and he's a really nice guy. It's a don't miss if you're in the area.

We get there once a year when we are heading up to Brookings...we always get terrific service and great food, wine and local beers...this year was no different our waiter Ian was talkative and friendly with great service...we plan to go back again next year!!!

Best steaks in cali! I've veen to several steak houses in california from sac to crescent city & this is by far the best. If you haven't been here, then come here. Not only are the steaks wonderful but so is the atmosfire & the people who work there are very welcoming & nice!
Friendly staff, amazing food, and nice view/ambience.
You've got to have the grilled artichoke hearts, brisket soup, and brisket sandwich.
