Originally opened in the small town of Carlotta, California, loyal fans would drive hours to get their Shamus T Bones fix. Eventually, the co-owners decided to open a larger location in Eureka, and they built their dream restaurant from the ground up right by the beautiful Humboldt Bay. This is an amazingly unique restaurant with a spectacular bar right on the ocean 🌊 where you can sip a cocktail 🍹 and watch the sunset 🌅 While the barbecue is amazing I usually can’t resist the seafood 🐟. Great setting, interesting outdoorsy decor, very good food & good service. I’m glad the Lost Coast Brewery was closed or we would have missed out on this place.

Yesterday was my first visit and I couldn't have been more satisfied. Nice and attentive staff willing to accommodate my needs, great grilled artichoke and amazing prime rib. My kids had the ribs and ate every bite. If I am ever in Eureka again, it will be a must!
