I had to take the time to write this excellent review! I'd beeb needing a gastroenterologist for years and a colonoscopy, but put it off, partly out of fear and not trusting doctors. But Dr Shafi and all his employees were wonderful, kind and caring, the procedure went well, the whole process much better than expected, so i do highly recommend, Dr Shafi and his office, thank you Lynda

Dr Shafi has been the doctor of my entire family for 10 years. He cared for my father and now he cares for the rest of the family. My brother and I both needed colonoscopies. I also was having other stomach issues. Dr Shafi and his staff were wonderful. They were so complete and thorough. They were very professional and wait times were acceptable. It was easy getting an appointment and they got my testing done within days. They value their patients and are true professionals. Thank you.

Dr. Shafi was very brief and impersonal. He did not provide any information about the conditions he diagnosed. He did not provide any information ahead of time about the colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. I was left to research everything without his help. After a very long wait time I felt rushed to discuss my health and did not get clear answers to my questions. I would not recommend Dr Shafi but I will say his staff was very helpful and courteous.

Actual procedure done with Dr Shafi a week after meeting him and scheduling appointment. He, as well as the entire admin and medical staff were kind, competent and professional. For first appointment, wait time 5 minutes; for procedure 80 minutes. Despite procedure wait time, highly recommend this physician..

Dr. Shafi and his office staff were extremely kind throughout my endoscopy procedure. Upon my initial visit and talking with Dr. Shafi he recommended this procedure as I was having trouble swallowing. My appointment was scheduled only a week later, and the procedure only took about 30 minutes. He was able to solve my 5 year long issue with just a simple stretching of my esophagus. I felt welcomed and in good hands the whole time I was there.

He did not bother reading any of my medical history which was prepared for him neatly typed. Did not bother to read any of my Lab tests. Gave me a sample medication which "clearly" resulted in worsening of my problem, had he bothered to pay attention. He then wanted me to have a duplicate procedure, which of course was to be done in his clinic (owned by he and his partners) Never looking at the same test results having been done by a different Clinic. He spent all of 13 minutes with me.

Dr Shafi is very good and nice but his office manager and star are extremely rude with patients and have very poor customer service and they do not know how to work with patients and insurances. He was highly recommended but his staff and office staff were very rude. I will find another doctor elsewhere. It's really sad when doctors are good and recommend but their office staff makes ones experience horrible. I would not recommend this office.

Poos Customer Service when calling! They don't care how sick you are and will not work with you when the insurance will not cover your procedure

I never felt rushed with Dr. Shafi. I called his office and he returned my call the same day to address my concern. I had a colonoscopy / endoscopy procedure. The prep nurses and recovery were some of the most caring ones I have had.
