Dr. Shafi, while he seems to have a lot of knowledge in his field, is the least personable doctor that I've met. Upon our first meeting, he was 30 minutes late and our appointment was less than 5 minutes long. His answers to my questions were one-word responses as he read through my medical records DURING the appt on his laptop. I have been a patient of Dr. Shafi's for many, many years. I have never had a bad experience with him. As a matter of fact, I trust him and any of the decisions he makes about my healthcare. My entire family (that are old enough) have seen him on account of my referrals. He's not the most chatty person on the planet, but then again, that's not why we see him is it?

I am so grateful for this office and for Dr. Shafi!! The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Shafi is incredible! He really knows his stuff. My last gastro doctor told me that my only option was expensive, biweekly injections, but Dr. Shafi recommended an inexpensive pill to try first, and it has completely controlled my Crohn’s disease. I’m so grateful that he is so informed and helped me to find a medication that is less intrusive and so much better for me. I was extremely hesitant to get a colonoscopy, but at 53, I knew that I had to get it done. I rarely write reviews, but Dr. Shafi and his entire staff deserve a 5-star rating. The process was simple, and they made me feel comfortable. For a procedure that can save your life, there is no reason to put it off. It is painless, quick, and virtually no recovery time and it is done in his office privately and discretely. I highly recommend Dr. Shafi.

Dr Shafi is very re assuring and he successfully steamy esophagus so I can eat again without choking. It has been years since I’ve been able to to that. I highly recommend him and his practice on Windmill

I have been going to Dr. Shafi for many years . He is professional in every way and I trust his competence completely. He is also a very caring Doctor. In my opinion. hElizaveth Rithe is really concerned about all his patients. His medical personnel are extremely helpful, competent and caring as well.

I recommend Dr. Shafi. Both my husband and I have been very satisfied with him. His office is efficient and his staff have always been polite and friendly to us. Dr. Shafi is a little reticent, so he is not Mr. Chatty. That's okay with me - he's focused! I've had to have 3 different procedures done and Dr. Shafi and his staff made me feel safe and comfortable with all of them. I think Dr. Shafi is great - he gets an A+ from me..
