I wish I could give him 0 stars. I saw him twice, first time I had felt dismissed but he had agreed that all the health issues I was experiencing was not normal. He refused to let me speak more than a sentence in response to the questions he asked. When I did speak, he was dismissive and talked over me. Dr. Shafi and his staff are wonderful. My husband and I have both gone to him and recently I had to have a second procedure at his office. Everyone was kind, helpful and efficient. Dr. Bhatia recommended Dr. Shafi to me and I'm glad he did. I will continue to see Dr. Shafi and I highly recommend him.

This doctor may be good I'll never know. The receptionist is the most rude sassy person I ever talked to on the phone. I said I won't give you my business and she said that's fine. I hope the Dr sees this review and fires her knowing she is costing him patients

The office procedure was fine, The problem is the overcharged me! I have been to the office, called the office with no refund! Last time I call they said it would be 10/12 weeks to get a refund! They are busy! I think it’s a scam, they think people don’t check there EOB, and there they go a extra $200.00 in there pocket!!! If I owed the $ , and said I pay in 10/12 weeks , how would that work?? It’s now August 8, the test was done on May 1st and they still have my money.... First of all my experience with everyone associated with Dr. Shafi was 5 STAR +. My wife recommended me to see Dr. Shafi so I asked my new Dr. Brantner to please refer me to see him. No one likes preparing for a Colonoscopy however, his office Windmill staff Karla, Sarah or Sara, Heidi, Evelyn and Tiffany were the BEST!!!! I felt comfortable-NOT exposed to the world and enjoyed the treatment I received. ENJOYED? Yep! I didn't feel a thing (thanks Heidi) and no issues a day later as I write.

Dr. Shafi is an excellent Gastroenterologist for sure! He took the fear out of my having to take a colonoscopy in which I was over due to take one (pass fifty years old, and had a parent who passed away with colon cancer.) I decided to have Dr. Shafi do the procedure because I did my research and found that he would be the best choice due to many factors such as his knowledge, experience, and most of all his listening skills. He is serious and caring about his patients and medical work.

Dr. Shafi and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I cannot say enough good things about these people and the quality care they all give. They understood my fears and answered all my questions. I was also made very comfortable before and after my procedures. The area was clean and comfortable. I even received a phone call hours after my procedures to see if I were doing well. I have nothing but high praises.
