My husband and I had dinner there tonight. We have been there many times. However they were packed tonight and the kitchen and servers rocked. The kitchen ran smoothly, they were a well greased team calling out orders. The waitresses were polite and on target. The runner was very helpful with helping waitresses get orders to table. Very impressed with all of them. Of course food was excellent as usual. But tonight was an exception due to amount of customers. Great team work. Job well done staff. My bun was soaked in grease, my burger had so much mustard on it that even after scraping it with all the grease I just couldn’t eat it. The onion rings were left in too long, same thing soggy. I just touched my food to try it (decided, not to eat) and the waitress never asked how it was and clearly picked up a whole plate of food and never asked to take it off the bill or what was wrong. Very disappointed because the first time we went it was okay.
I visited Shades this past Saturday night. I was greeted at the door right away and was seated in about 10 minutes. Restaurant was crowded but I got in before the waiting list grew. Both the wings and pizza were very good and the beer was cold! Our server was on the ball and very polite. She always seemed to check on us at the right time. Definitely going to plan a return visit. Highly recommend!
Pretty good food. My friend got the wrong sandwich, but the other server brought out the right one, but did not offer to let her take it with her, just threw it away. When we paid for our meal, the mgr. deducted the price of my friend's sandwich from the bill which was nice.The atmosphere is good.
Always good food and service
reasonably priced, and great quality food! All staff were fantastic and quick to be waited on. Will definitely be visiting again soon!!
The service was terrible. Place was not that busy, and we waited approximately five minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge we were there. Then she forgot our silverware, leaving our food in front of us after it came, for another ten minutes. I am not sure if she expected us to eat like cave people- we may look a little haggard- but I assure you, as a civilized couple, we appreciate the silverware that was eventually brought to us by another waitress after we had to flag one down. Food was good. Service sucked.
