Service, food, & price were ok. There’s much better for the same price in town that I prefer.
After baseball tournament a few months ago we decided to visit Shades with a large group and honestly the food quality and service was not what we expected .. This past weekend decided to try it again and had a great experience , service was great and food was excellent .. Whatever has changed keep it up .. We will be back !!!!!

I visited Shades this past Saturday night. I was greeted at the door right away and was seated in about 10 minutes. Restaurant was crowded but I got in before the waiting list grew. Both the wings and pizza were very good and the beer was cold! Our server was on the ball and very polite. She always seemed to check on us at the right time. Definitely going to plan a return visit. Highly recommend!

reasonably priced, and great quality food! All staff were fantastic and quick to be waited on. Will definitely be visiting again soon!!
Excellent Service. This is a hidden gem in the Newark/Heath area. I had the Reuben. The corned beef was very lean - delicious. We had the spinach artichoke dip. The best I've ever had. I'll be going there again very soon. May even get take-out too!
The best place for excellent wings and burgers
The food was amazing but the service was terrible. The restaurant really wasn’t very busy and the waitress made it a point to not check on us, or look in our direction as she waited on 2 other tables that were nearly beside us. She went to their tables numerous times before making it to ours. She was very forgetful and as she handed us our bills there was no “have a nice day” or “thank you for stopping in” she immediately walked away with saying nothing.
