Trilogy, Shade's spa partner, provides guests with every treatment imaginable. The in-house bar, Zinc, is ideal for a cool drink and some tapas. The hotel also has adequate business facilities, and private events can be organized here too. Now isn't that a shade better than the rest?

We were very disappointed in the excessive fees (services charges on everything) and how poorly the management responded when we complained of overage charges on a birthday dinner we paid for 25 guests. The room was nice but small. Location to the beach is good, only 4 blocks away. Food was good. I wouldn’t recommend

came with my boys because we thought the beaches were closed I got the day pass for the pool too small but did the job great amenities water bottles towels chairs I think I'll come back in the winter

This boutique hotel is soooo California, very warm, relaxed and welcoming staff!!! You just feel at home. Great food too ( spinach omelet is too die for 😂) I just finished the core wellness class with Jason, in their zen court yard , Jason is just an amazing coach, upbeat, so relax and easy to work with, they welcome the guests, staff and community to join in; an 8 year old guest did amazing today and we had so much fun!!
Wonderful place in the best location in Manhattan Beach,top pool is perfect for an intimate event great services and very accommodating stuff. Vacation, staycation or business this Shade is the place to be.
Valet Parking ( Zain Corey ) was a true Gentleman . All the staff was most pleasant and on their game . Truly a great experience.
Such a phenomenal experience. we were stuck on an unexpected layover in LA for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to turn our day around. From the food, to the drinks, to the wonderful conversation and top notch customer service, I can honestly say that this will be one of the most unforgettable moments of our honeymoon. We cannot wait to return to work with Shelley and Chelsea and enjoy Graham's cooking again!
