Awesome place. Friendly staff. Great food. Great rooms. Had a wonderful time. And having the beach 2 blocks away and not needing a car was most excellent too.

Shade is the most beautiful hotel! Luxury at its finest. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff is very attentive, and the restaurant is wonderful. It is the perfect location to enjoy all that Manhattan Beach has to offer. We can't wait to go back!
Fabulous place to stay. I can't wait to be back in MB to stay there again with more time to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer.
Stopped in last minute and snagged a room! Pleasantly surprised! Very luxurious.. left a little gift for our baby in the pack and play, delivered cake pops, champagne... top notch service. Love this place and can't wait to go back some day!
