Baptism Dress – I had Sew Special make my daughter's Baptism gown. I explained to them that I wanted something simple yet pretty, with some lace, and not to long. What I got was a beautiful gown for my daughter that far exceeded my expectations!!!! It was beautiful and and more elegant than I imagined. My daughter was the most beautiful baby there. I highly recommend Sew Special to everyone that I know. They do exceptional work, and have the most friendliest people.

Professionals come at a price – I recently bought my first linen suit and wanted it custom fitted. I?ve never had a suit fitted before and after researching online I decided to check out Sew Special Custom. The whole experience from start to finish was very pleasant and professional. miracle on my dress over a couple of weeks. – I came from france for a wedding and I had a dress that wasn't finshed and had horrible flaws. So i was reccommended this place and over a couple of weeks, they made a miracle. the dress was long and have a lot of lace and i know it took a lot of work and dedication. the people there were friendly and professionnal. The staff is talented and now i look much better in this dress. so this is a place i highly recommend!! now i got a perfect dress ............thanks a million.
Best Inexpensive Tailor – I bought this jacket in Europe a year ago and I like it so much and I wanted a replica of it. I have searched high and low in the city of Chicago and found this unpretentious shop. The mature lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Used to be good – I gave this business a great review once, but am writing a new one now because alterations that used to be $7 a year ago are now $18! Almost not worth it to fix a garment. All they care about now is that you give them a a nice review, so they can rip somebody else off based on their "good" name. I will be looking for a new tailor - someone good and reasonable. Beware of all old reviews...
Best Cleaners on Broadway – I take all my dry cleaning to Sew Special. It's hard to find someone who handles your clothes the way you want.
Nice job – I came here recently to have a bridesmaid dress altered. The tailor did a nice job. It was a tad on the pricey side and only a bit cheaper than some of the other tailors I have been to (i.e. La Modista). Although I will say they were very customer-oriented. I would recommend this place for dress alterations over an everyday dry cleaners.
