Best Tailor in Chicago, Hands Down – I have had six suits tailored from SewSpecial over the past year, and I have never been dissapointed. Every suit I have fits perfectly - they know how to exactly fit a suit for your body type. SewSpecial is not your average Dry Cleaner tailor, they are experts - prices are very reasonable, and they are extremely efficient. My $300 suits now look and feel like $2000 Valentinos

Great Tailors – I brought a Suit Jacket in that needed some alterations. Once I walked in I was promptly helped. The Taliors were very professional, and expertly tailored my jacket. Prices were very reasonable, and the wait time for my jacket was minimal. Very satisfied, and plan to come back often.

Amazing Tailors – I usually have garments tailored by my dry cleaner. Sometimes I'm happy with their work, other times I am shocked at the quality... SO... when I needed to have a sequined garment taken in and up, I figured I'd try somewhere new. The reviews on here are right! They do a great job at Sew Special. You can't even tell the dress has been completely changed, and they worked with a DIFFICULT sequin pattern. The craftmanship and quality is VERY good. I'll be going back!

Top notch – These guys really know what they are doing. Being a skinny guy, it is tough to find a tailor that really does a good job with shirts, pants and jackets. They got it right the first time. A little pricey, but well worth it. Friendly and great service. I highly recommend them!

Great work!!! – I took in raw fabric to have 4 drapery panels made and Mike did a wonderful job. He made the drapes with blackout liner and even made tie backs with the extra fabric. The drapes look terrific! I will definitely utilize Sew Special's services again! Mark

Great Alterations! – I took two bridesmaid dresses in one that wouldn't be too much work and another that was two sizes too big and very detailed. I had no clue how anyone would have made it not only fit me but look good too. I was amazed when I went back to pick them up because they were both amazing. They fit like a glove and you would never be able to guess that the one dress was two sizes too big. They did such a great job and are very very nice so I would strongly recommend them and will certainly be going back!!

great service-great attitude-excellent work – This is a very small shop-European. Very creative and friendly, staff is helpful and attentive. Tailors want to do the job correctly and monitor each other. Ordinary alterations are a breeze-more complex challenges don;t phase them. Bespoke work is of very high quality-well designed and realised. Highest recommendation.
