Exemplary service!
I love Dr. Ford; he performed a cornea transplant on my right eye 13 years ago and Performed one on my left eye March 21 of this year. The one reason this is not a 5 star is the lack of cooperation from surgery center billing department. I was charged twice for the surgery centers portion of total bill and have yet to receive a refund. This has been 2 1/2 months and I still cannot get anyone to confirm when they are going to refund the funds! The best Eye Doctors that I have been to EVER. Been to eye doctors 27 times since Jan. 2016.
Several years ago, I experienced a detached retina, which was repaired by a vitro-retinal specialist in Tallahassee. My "regular"opthalmologist at the time was located in Albany, GA. That Dr had failed to timely diagnose my problem, which resulted in much more involved surgery than would have been otherwise necessary. I lived about 50 miles from Albany and about 60 from Tallahassee. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr Kato, of Eye Associates by the vitro-retinal Dr, as I also require treatment for glaucoma.
